Email notifications are an experimental feature of Notifo. Users may opt-in to this feature if they wish to try it for themselves. To enable email notifications for your account, please follow these steps:

1. Once you are logged in, click the big orange button above to subscribe to HN alerts.
2. Go to Advanced Settings and enable Receive Email Notifications.
3. Once you have subscribed to HN alerts, go to the Hacker News Service Settings page and make sure that Send Email Notifications is checked.
4. Back on your Hacker News user profile, make sure you have entered your Notifo username in the field labeled notifo.
5. That's it! You should receive email notifications when someone replies to one of your comments on Hacker News.
