Install an App

Checkout the free Notifo mobile apps or desktop apps. If you're using an iPhone simply search for Notifo in the App Store and install it.

Sign In

Ensure Notifo is correctly setup by sending yourself a test notification:

Please log in to enable test notification button.

You will receive your first Notifo notification within seconds! Your mobile device will bring up a notification window. When viewing your list of notifications in the app:

• Tap any notification once to select and expand it.
• Tap again to load the URL attached to the notification, if any.

Your mobile device is correctly linked up and ready to receive notifications.

Subscribe to Services

Services and projects are continually being released for Notifo, so find some you like and subscribe! Or create your own. Some services require you to visit their website and provide your username. Projects send notifications to your account only and require your API Secret found on the settings page.

Here are a few suggested services to get you started:

  Twitter mentions pushed to your phone in real-time. Free.

• Chrome to Notifo (and other browser extensions)

  Send the current website to your mobile device.

• Google Voice SMS alerts

  Google Voice user? Use this Notifo service to send texts through Notifo instead of using your text plan.

• Setup Push Email Alerts

  Setup filters in your email account to forward certain emails to your unique Notifo address.

Fine tune how you get alerted by services you subscribe to by clicking on Settings. You may also set quiet hours alongside individual service notification settings:

• Set your time zone and adjust notification quiet hours.

  If quiet hours are enabled, you will not receive any audible alerts on your mobile device during the specified hours but they will appear within the mobile app or Recent Notifications page on the website.

Tell Your Friends

Notifo gets better when your friends are on it! Notifo for iPhone lets you send messages and share images for free. Tell your friends to install Notifo and send a message to your username.
